Course Objectives:
Students will be engaged in conversations, obtain information, express feelings and exchange opinions in the Spanish language. Spanish allows students to demonstrate the relationship between the practices and perspectives of the cultures being studied. This class offers the oppurtunity for students to acquire information and viewpoints that are only available through foreign language and culture. Students will be able to compare the sentence structure of their native language to the Spanish language. Students will also be encouraged to use Spanish both in and outside the classroom.

Knowing Spanish will open doors for opportunities around the world. Spanish gives a better understanding to a different way of life, customs, values, and cultures. The knowledge of Spanish will allow different career opportunities When looking into different positions, being bilingual is a asset. Also, learning Spanish will improve your English skills.
